Purpose of This Reference
Idaho treats many jail and court records as public records, but the information is split across several offices. A person booked into the Ada County Jail may appear first in the sheriff's Current Arrests report, later in the inmate roster, then in Idaho iCourt after charges are filed. A sentenced prisoner may leave the county jail and move to an Idaho Department of Correction facility in Kuna or Boise. Federal and immigration custody use still different locators.
This site gathers the main public rosters, locator links, facility contacts, visitation rules, mail rules, court-record routes, and public-record request steps into one Ada County-focused reference. It is not an official database and does not replace the source office.
